Certified NPO Rocinantes receives the 30th Yomiuri International Cooperation Award
The Yomiuri International Cooperation Award was established in 1994 to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the founding of the Yomiuri Shimbun. The first recipient was Sadako Ogata, then United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and every year since then, the award has been given to individuals and organizations who have demonstrated the importance of contributing to the international community and cooperating with them. This time, Rocinantes received the award in recognition of its 17 years of contributions to medical support in Africa, including mobile clinics in Sudan, Africa. The award ceremony was held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Fuji Room on the 3rd floor of the Imperial Hotel Main Building. As a foundation, we would like to continue to support their activities in the future.
