Talent Development

The Matsumoto Global Foundation has established a system for the training of international healthcare professionals and actively supports them. In addition to improving skills and knowledge, we aim to improve the quality of medical care by cultivating the ability to flexibly collaborate and manage with multiple professions and by promoting human resource exchanges across borders.

Subsidy program for nurses to present at international conferences

The Matsumoto Global Foundation, in cooperation with the Healthcare Associated Infection Control Support ( HAICS ) research group, has been providing grant funding since 2019 to nurses who present their own practices and research on infection control at overseas academic conferences. This time, the selection will be made for presenters at APIC2025, which will be held in Arizona, USA from June 16 to 18, 2025, as shown below.

Grant details

We will provide a grant of 150,000 yen to cover the cost of attending the conference. If necessary, we will support you in creating your poster and preparing for your presentation.

Examination

The review will be conducted in a strict blind manner by the following review committee members based on the abstracts registered with the Society (English text with a Japanese translation attached).

Recruitment announcement

The results of the selection will be announced on the Matsumoto Memorial Foundation website around the end of January 2025 and will also be sent to applicants by email.

*The announcement date may change due to various circumstances.

Important notes

The deadline for abstract submission may be extended due to conference schedules.
If, after the selection process, the grant recipient's abstract is not accepted by the conference, the grant will not be paid and will be awarded to the runner-up.

Post-publication responsibilities

After returning home, participants will be required to report at presentations and in booklets as determined by the Steering Committee.
