Foreign language expressions when administering a vaccine

The Matsumoto Global Foundation has compiled a video of foreign language expressions used during vaccination and uploaded simple conversations to YouTube. It is useful for nurses and other related parties to speak to patients in Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Burmese. Each language is easy to learn as it includes furigana, and texts can also be downloaded.

If you download the leaflet comparing the English and Japanese versions , on-site responses will be even smoother.

You can also listen to the actual English version on the Matsumoto Foundation Channel (Youtube) . Please use this as well. If you are not confident in your pronunciation, you can play the relevant part on your mobile phone at the venue.

After the fifth lesson, we had a social gathering that also served as a reflection session. Everyone looked like they were having a great time! It seemed like a bond had been formed among the people who didn't know each other at the time.

English conversation for pharmacy pharmacists

More and more foreigners living in Japan and foreign tourists are visiting drugstores to purchase over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. This book covers 30 basic phrases, imagining a situation where a pharmacy pharmacist sells over-the-counter (OTC) medicines to a foreign patient. If you learn one phrase a day, you can master it in a month. In addition to the basic phrases, there is also a practice section where you can replace them with other words, and a section with tips from Dr. Fallon, who is the advisor for this book.
