A signing ceremony was held at the Latin American Medical University to establish the Cuban Human Resource Development Fund. It is hoped that this will foster young talent in the healthcare field.

The Ministry of Health officials of Cuba who made a great effort to establish the Cuba Human Resources Development Fund. Most of them are medical doctors, all female.

A medical school established by Fidel Castro in 1999. It accepts students from 85 countries , and tuition is free. The school is decorated with folk crafts brought by students from their home countries.

In order to understand the medical situation, we exchanged opinions with the government and related companies and concluded MOUs. It is hoped that the medical situation will improve.

Before the visit, the male members of the mission dressed in formal attire called guajabera. They held Cuba's national flower, the mariposa, in their hands. It had an indescribably good scent.

An MOU was exchanged with ICEM, which manufactured sterilizers 40 years ago, to reopen the factory. It is now under the umbrella of the ELECTRONICA Group.

ICEM's medical equipment was highly praised, and cooperation was eagerly sought from the perspective of maintaining the health of the general public, and heated discussions were held about resuming the relationship.

There is a high demand for pathological diagnosis of cancer, but at the same time, medical equipment is becoming increasingly outdated, and issues are emerging as IT becomes more widespread.

The inspection team hosted a reception at a hotel. They exchanged "culture and arts" through a performance of the koto brought from Japan. They forged strong bonds of friendship with the local government officials outside of work.
